➨ Inventário turístico da cidade de São Luís (São Luís Tourism Offer List)
São Luís, capital do estado do Maranhão, conhecida também como Atenas Brasileira, Cidade dos Azulejos e dos Sobradões, suas belezas naturais e seu conjunto de casarios rendeu a capital fundada por Daniel de La Touche, Senhor de La Ravardiére, o título de Patrimônio Mundial da Humanidade, concedido pela Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, a Ciência e a Cultura (UNESCO) em 1997.
A atividade do Turismo na capital, tem avançado em razão de diversos fatores, como a revitalização do centro histórico, o qual possui cerca de quatro mil edificações tombadas pelo Instituto de Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional - IPHAN, os projetos culturais executados nos períodos de alta temporada, que contemplam o calendário festivo da cidade, além dos investimentos em infraestrutura de acesso e na promoção do destino. Dessa maneira, essas iniciativas contribuem para o aumento do fluxo turístico e estão sendo primordiais para o retorno das atividades, durante o período da pandemia.
Assim, o Inventário da Oferta Turística de São Luís tem como objetivo identificar os principais atrativos, serviços e infraestrutura turística do município, além de planejar tecnicamente o desenvolvimento do turismo na cidade.
Nesse contexto, São Luís projeta-se nacionalmente no cenário turístico pelas suas manifestações culturais e suas belezas naturais, rodeada de praias ao longo dos seus 32 km de litoral. A cidade também é destino para diversos segmentos, como o de Negócios e Eventos e o do Turismo Religioso, segmentos
estes, que são de grande importância e relevância para a atividade turística da cidade.
Em se tratando da religiosidade maranhense, esta é considerada uma das mais tradicionais do Nordeste, tanto pelas festas religiosas católicas, quanto pelas religiões de matrizes africanas, expressivas não somente na capital, mas, também em todo o estado do Maranhão.
Vale ressaltar que o município de São Luís integra o Mapa do Turismo Brasileiro desde 2013, bem como, se configura como membro efetivo do Polo Turístico e está classificado na Categorização Turística A por parte do Ministério do Turismo. Tais créditos chancelam a relevância regional do município no processo de planejamento, gestão e desenvolvimento do turismo em territórios maranhenses.
O Serviço de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas Brasileiras – SEBRAE no intuito de colaborar permanentemente com as ações empreendedoras e sustentáveis, realizou por meio de Convênio com a Prefeitura Municipal de São Luís no Programa Cidade Empreendedora, o Inventário da Oferta Turística.
Contando com capital humano capacitado tecnicamente, coordenou a elaboração do documento, na perspectiva de fortalecer o nível de conhecimento do universo a ser trabalhado, em relação aos bens e serviços turísticos do lugar.
Enfim, são informações que promovem políticas públicas em consonância com a regionalização turística e, por conseguinte, contribui com a gestão pública e privada do município, a qual visa atender à demanda turística (nacional e internacional).

Tourism activity in the capital has advanced due to several factors, such as the revitalization of the historic center, which has about four thousand buildings listed by the Instituto de Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional - IPHAN, cultural projects carried out in periods of high season, which include the city's festive calendar, in addition to investments in access infrastructure and in promoting the destination. In this way, these initiatives contribute to the increase in tourist flow and are essential for the return of activities during the pandemic period.
Thus, the São Luís Offer List aims to identify the main attractions, services and tourist infrastructure of the municipality, in addition to technically planning the development of tourism in the city.
In this context, São Luís is projected nationally in the tourist scene for its cultural manifestations and its natural beauties, surrounded by beaches along its 32 km of coastline. The city is also a destination for several segments, such as Business and Events and Religious Tourism, segments
these, which are of great importance and relevance for the tourist activity of the city.
When it comes to Maranhão religiosity, this is considered one of the most traditional in the Northeast, both for Catholic religious festivals and for religions of African origins, expressive not only in the capital, but also in the entire state of Maranhão.
It is worth mentioning that the municipality of São Luís has been part of the Brazilian Tourism Map since 2013, as well as being an effective member of the Tourist Pole and is classified in Tourism Categorization A by the Ministry of Tourism. Such credits endorse the regional relevance of the municipality in the process of planning, management and development of tourism in Maranhão territories.
The Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas - SEBRAE in order to permanently collaborate with entrepreneurial and sustainable actions, carried out, through an Agreement with the Municipality of São Luís in the Entrepreneurial City Program, the Tourism Offer List.
Counting on technically qualified human capital, it coordinated the preparation of the document, with a view to strengthening the level of knowledge of the universe to be worked on, in relation to the tourist goods and services of the place.
Finally, it is information that promotes public policies in line with tourist regionalization and, therefore, contributes to the public and private management of the municipality, which aims to meet tourist demand (national and international).
